During the spring 2016 the customer campaigned their classic product: liver casserole.
Along with the new product launch also liver casserole required social media reminder advertising.
Every Finn has an opinion about liver casserole. Yes, imagine that. The core campaign concept was a presidential election parody. It involved raisins arguing whether a true liver casserole should have raisins or not. The social media campaign really stood out as it used humorous animated characters and cartoon strips. The raisin presidential campaign was run for several weeks and it ended in a mega-popular nationwide vote. (The raisins won 61 percent of the votes).
The social media videos made for the "raisin presidential elections" were a smash hit - watched over 330,000 times! The raisin elections were conducted on the Saarioinen's Facebook pages with over 4000 votes given! This is an astonishing achievement for liver casserole. Just think what we could do with beef, jalopeno, chocolate and beer!!!
